Question:

Shoud I go for the Philips HTS9800?

I have just bought a Philips LCD tv.Now I was looking for a home theater system.by this time the HTS 9800 got into my sight.the look of it was amazing.but I dont quite know about the sound quality.should I buy it?

  1. I'm really not a fan of HTIB. The reason is that if one thing breaks, you might as well toss the entire system out. Also, sound quality won't be as good as a component system.

    The receiver is an older model but a good one (especially for the price). You can then get an inexpensive DVD player (bluray will be taking over DVDs soon so don't bother spending too much now).

    The system isn't wireless (the vast majority of wireless speakers sound crappy and don't work well) but it's upgradeable in the future and will give you much better sound than a htib.


  2. talk  to the same company and are making the necessary adjustments. Could be a mistake Baltosbl possible and maybe you need to buy something from a certain quality of the same company.
