  1. The world. You deceive! World mass media conduct propagation of a false information. Russia DID NOT ATTACK Georgia! 07.08.2008 at 22:00 Georgia has attacked South Ossetia. At 3:30 08.08.2008 tanks of the Georgian armies have entered into city Tskhinvali. Artillery bombardment all the day long proceeded, fights with use of tanks and heavy combat material, both against ossetic armies, and against peace inhabitants were conducted. 1400 civil people already were lost. The Russian peacemakers have arrived to South Ossetia in the evening 08.08.2008 for settlement of the conflict and prompting of the world in republic and protection of the Russian citizens living on territory of South Ossetia. Georgia has attacked South Ossetia on eve of Olympiad, it is top of cruelty and cynicism. We shall tell is not present to WAR!!!

  2. No. Why? well:

    1) The US does not want to get into an argument with Russia, which could easily lead to a war with the Russians, and so the Chinese as well. Not a good idea unless you want North America blown off the map.

    2) Russia is supporting its people, and the independence of a region that has been independent for about a decade, and has every right to remain so. Georgia was wrong in attacking. Why should the US back the people who are in the wrong?

    3) Russia will swallow Georgia if it has to, and it won't take long if they decide to do it.

    4) The USA has neither the troops or the money to back Georgia with force, which they would have to do - words never stopped anyone.

  3. Well it does appear a continuation of the policies of the Soviet Union to use tanks and air power against civilians in countries they want to rule, just as they did in Hungary and Czechoslovakia. That is why Hungary and Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic& Slovakia) joined NATO and why Georgia wants to join NATO, and also why Russia is so determined to try to stop Georgia joining NATO. That is what this is really all about. When Soviet tanks invaded Hungary and Czechoslovakia the USA could not intervene then militerally because of the dangers of starting a nuclear Wortld war. That is exactly the same today with Georgia. Today too if USA did get involved militarily there would be a danger of this becoming a World War between the two most powerful nuclear states in the world, and that would mean the end of the world. So that is why the answer to your question has to be "NO". .

  4. We must keep our big mouth closed and back no one.  Once and for all the USA must stay out of it.  We are out of troops and money.

  5. The USA is already involved:
