UK only - Shoud you get paid early if payday falls on a bank holiday weekend?

Doe anyone know our rights. We should get paid on the 25th however this fall on bank holiday weekend. Therefore we will be getting paid on the 27th. Surely scheduled direct debits will suffer. Should we get paid on the Friday before. Does anyone know the rights...?

Your direct debits won't be going anywhere as it is the Bank Holiday (i.e Banks on holiday).  Don't worry.  There are no 'rights', payday is payday.  Some companies pay early at Christmas bot not for Bank Holidays.
