Shoudl I Lease 2008 Civic now or wait for 2009 models?

I wish to get a Honda Civic coupe Ex Manual, They quoted me at msrp at $19435 $2000 down and monthly payments at $313. Is this a good deal or should I just wait for the new 2009 models

  1. That is one of the toughest cars to get right now with gas prices the way they are (and will probably be staying). Based on their popularity, you may not find one come December. The end of the year is always a great time to get a vehicle, but that assumes normal demand. There isn't much difference in the 2008 and 2009 model. I'd get it when you want it. If you are going to keep it for a while, I'd go 2009. Here's a link to others discussing the current Civic leases. You can compare your deal there...goog luck!

  2. Like the other guy says, if you wait til december you will get it at a much reduced price. The only problem with that is you take the chance of not being able to find a 2008 model in december. September/October is when they really start flooding the next year models in, so from that moment on, keep your eye on your local dealers. When their 08 stock is starting to get low, thats when you want to jump on it. You get a brand new, year old car at a discounted price. Just keep a sharp eye out, with gas prices going up you can figure that end of year sales for small, reliable, fuel efficient vehicles are going to be crazy.

  3. You can get it cheaper if you get the 08's since the 09's are coming out. I saw on 8thcivic.com that the 09's are going to have a few changes. A new trim level and such. It's up to your likings.

  4. If you wait till like December to lease an 08 model you're going to get it CHEAP. If you wait until the new 09 models you're going to be paying quite alot to lease one.
