that way whe there is an emergency you can onyl get up to 30 mph on your way to the hospital?

  1. For most people in the US a car filled with the couple thousand pounds of the steel tanks you would need to store compressed air safely, is unreasonable. Plus, when you consider a 30lb plastic tank can hold enough fuel to get you 300 miles in a petrolium fueled car, while a couple thousand pounds of steel compressed air cylinders might get you 75 miles, its hard for the average person to see the benefit.
