Question:

Should A Boy Be Allowed To Wear Girls Clothes?

My friend has a 5 y/o son who's getting ready to go into kindergarten.

He's always kind of been "sissy" like playing with other girls and girl toys instead of playing with other boys.

Now when she takes him to someplace like Wal-Mart to buy clothes, he refuses to try anything on from the boys section.

She took him to a counselor because she didn't know what to do.

The counselor suggested that meet him half way.

Make him wear boys clothes during pre-school/school.

And on weekends and when at home, allow him to wear a dress or other girls clothes.

She already bought him a doll when he was 3.

Is she letting him have too much control?

  1. Personally, I think people should be allowed to where whatever they feel like wearing, but I think you should address the problem in a way that isn't a problem. In other words, talk to him and figure out why dosen't want to do things in cirtain way.
