He should be definitely worried. As he gained popularity in India now, he formed 3 enemies.

1.Immediate Enemy- Media and Promos.

They won't let him eat ,drink and sleep.

2.Delayed Enemy-

Bollywood(Any Regional film industry).

These fellows need some one popular guy to b hero no matter what.

3.Late Enemy-

Politics

He can be a M.P or M.L.A in future.

For 2 and 3 he is Favorite ,bcoz this guy is very rich too....

There is no reson for Abhinav Bindra to be worried at all. He infact should ensure that the Talent in this country is brought forward & is groomed for bringing further Laurels for our Country.

He has every reason to be the most satisfied person since, he has achieved the highest where he has nothing to go for any further.

Cricket has its own charisma. A team of people have to work together to achieve the win.Cricketers did us proud by winning the 20/20 but, I am sure the crown on India's head is brought by one man & that is Abhinav.

Well, your question it self raises many other questions.

Since India won its Cricket World Cup in '83, this game has taken a high, I belive every sport need a push and a country like ours where every body is concerned about their professional lives and earning money nobody is willing to take sports like carrier, we have to prove that others games can also be highly payable.

On the other hand, BCCI runs cricket in India as a private show, and you know a private corporation or company can always do better than a govt. organisation (dont argue about the reasons fact remains fact). If we igonre thoughts of greats like MILKHA SINGH who recently commented or I would say did a forcasting about Indian atheletes in Olympics that Non of runner/jump-er etc will win a madel, we would end every sporting evenet in greef. He suggested to SAI (Sport Authority of India) that every athlete should be trained under military coaches and he said What we lack is a FOCUS and Committement.

To keep it short, I dont see any threat to AB's fame as long as HE CONTINUES TO IMPRESS WITH HIS PERFORMANCE.

Be genuine when to speak against CRICKET. It has entertained us alot.

not at all......Abhinav Bindra will be looked at as a national hero for the ages.......if he doesn't shy away from the publicity he is getting he could potentially lead a sports movement in India.

although cricket is still the biggest sport in India, Abhinav could really open doors for other Indian athletes who show potential in individual sports  (shooting or not)
