its not fair why should collingwood have to travel to SA , adelaide is scary enough with the feral fans, and about 70000 would be able to watch the game at the MCG

Just because Adelaide have a smaller stadium it shouldn't benefit collingwood. If AMMI was 70,000 seats I'm sure it to would be filled!

Adelaide dissevered the right to have a home final - they also have the biggest membership base.

Another question skilled stadium 27,000 seats... subiaco 45,000 why wasn't geelong vs wce at subi then?? same goes for everything.

FYI - eagles, port, fremantle, brisbane, sydney, adelaide all travel 11+ times a season, and your whinging that pies have to travel 4 times... so pathetic!! You obviously don't know how lucky you are to have so many games in Victoria so you can support your team.

Put it this way, Collingwood fans - 200 Collingwood barrackers will go to AAMI, but 2 million people will see Collingwood dismiss the Crows on TV.

As is well known, I am a Bomber, and according to rule I am supposed to hate the Maggies, but I have faith that with a couple of the boys back from injury this week, the Woods can rebound to beat the Crows.

I don;t feel sorry for collingwood having to travel, we do more travelling than them.

AAMI holds just over 50,000 that's not too bad.

If they didn't want to travel then shouldn't have lost to the Dockers and it might look a bit sus if the AFL fixed the draw to suit them..

Also I think you might find its Port that have the feral fans over there and most will be going for Collingwood.

Of course we have to travel to SA - we finished a crappy 8th and its losing easy games that has cost us the double chance and home finals...bad luck.

Anything can happen on the day, and if all goes well and the right teams win (including Collingwood) we could actually avoid playing the Cats until the GF

Because Adelaide won and Collingwood didn't. Lol not all Adelaid fans are feral but i knew someone who went to a match in Adelaide and they wern't aloud to go to toilet because they went for fitzroy.

Ok, for starters, Collingwood travel further in their pre-season than they do for the entire home and away season. They get the easiest draw in the league and the most games at their home ground.

Apart from that, yes in a truly national sport some of the finals should be played interstate as it's only fair on the teams that finished with more points and a higher percentage.

If your hot pies had of beaten those losers from Freo on Friday night we wouldn't even be talking about this.

And if you can't support a national league you may as well go back to the VFL.

No they shouldn't, because they didn't even kick the goal that Akermanis tapped through and this may have changed the result, because at the end of the game, Adelaide were chipping the ball around where they may not have.
