The man running for Vice President under Bob Barr says:

*I support the rights of citizens to bear arms. I believe in the Second Amendment- the part of our Bill of Rights that protects the individual right of all Americans to keep and bear arms. PERIOD. The first line of defense against terrorism is the armed American: let's start treating patriotic American gun owners with the respect they deserve for shouldering this great responsibility and taking the unrealistic pressure off of our National Guard (which cannot be everywhere at once). This makes infinitely more sense than putting gun owners in jail for owning guns that were perfectly legal in 1985, while we turn America into a vast arena of undefended potential terrorism targets. Gun laws are a failure- they fail to stop criminals from buying guns on the black market. Yet they leave law-abiding Americans defenseless at the hands of criminals.

  1. Yeah...oh and i just wanted to add that there are plenty of people with no criminal records who have tempers and poor judgment and they CAN get guns legally...oh and criminals are always gonna be able to get guns like you said...h**l strict gun laws might turn law abiding folks to criminal firearm possession...whoever made those laws got the sh*t all twisted up lol...

  2. Yes! :)

  3. No.

30,000 deaths a year (that's a 9/11 every month) prove that you don't know how to handle guns.

  4. Gun laws do not fail in Europe. We're just not that civilized.

  5. They do. One of my best friends owns a gun store, I have never heard of this problem. She is constantly working with the BATF to consistently put guns in people's hands who truly deserve them. When I say deserve, If you have a battery misdemeanor, you obviously have a temper, why would you put a gun in the hands of someone with a temper. Also, if you have a felony, you obviously have poor judgement. Would you want a gun in the hands of someone who has to make the split second decision who has known poor judgement.

Quick little PS... If you get your news from a website that is supporting something, in this case a Party, It's going to tend to be skewed. Read up on something like the AP or Reuters before making a judgement.
