evrery person handle this different   some dont care they just go  others have  quit unecessary driving  but most  just use the good old c c

Against whom would the protests be aimed? It's hardly the fault of oil companies that the price of crude oil is so high nor that they can't refine more oil. Poke around on Yahoo Finance and see what the average Net Profit Margin is for the major oil companies (I'll give you a hint. Exxon/Mobil is the highest I found and it's only 10 percent).

The fact is that oil companies' profits are not particularly high. Your local liquor store charges a much higher markup. So do dairy companies when they sell you milk.

I'd suggest if you want to begin solving the problem of high gas prices, that you look for ways to make gas more plentiful or reduce the demand for it. Then prices will come down.

No we should not have to limit our freedoms for a private corporation. Nationalize the oil itself and just pay the private corporations to get it out of the ground for the people. We are so dependent on oil that it should be part of the commons.

Yea, that makes alot of sense.

Stay home, don't go to work and get fired.

That will really help with gasoline prices.

It's not so much a protest as it is a simple fact.  I can't afford to be driving around needlessly.

I don't think everyone can afford to stay home to protest high gas prices. A lot would get fired from their jobs for not going to work. Not every one gets days off for nothing.
