Should Andrew Symonds be in Australia's T20 team or his days are long gone?

    An in-form Andrew Symonds is as effective a batsman as anyone in the Aussie side, and if you want a name - Michael Clarke is clearly inferior

    As a bowler he's considerably better in this format than anyone in the current top six. On a slow pitch he's more effective than most of the bottom four too.

    He's also a very reliable catcher with a powerful arm

    It's his off-field behaviour rather than on-field ability that keeps him out of the squad, and thus the team


  2. Australia doesn't need Symonds in their Twenty20 team - they've got the best batting line-up in the World Twenty20. Who would you drop to put him back in the side? I can't think of anyone.
