Should Antonio Margarito be tested for STEROIDS?

I mean come on people, Miguel Cotto hit him with some pretty good punches in the early rounds and he didnt even blink

jajajaja I do not know who came up with this story but it is absurd.

I know it is very hard to accept that cotto was beaten I almost cried and woke up the other morning feeling like ****.    

We feel so proud of were we come from and want our people to do well so bad that when one of our own fail we feel it right in the heart.

It is the way we puerto ricans are and no one can jude us for that.  

But we have to learn to accept a defeat, Cotto gave a great fight landing some very great combinations and boxing mayweather style very impressively but Margarito have a wall for a head and nothing that cotto did hurt him.  Margarito fought better and clearly won the fight.  

People cotto is not done!!!!!!!!!! he is still one of the best welterweight and has only one defeat!!!!!  Cheer up that we will have cotto for a long time but dont try to take credit from Margarito with all this non sense.

Margarito or every other fighter should be test for steroids after every fight.  the reason is simple it's not fair for the fighters, fans or sport.  in my opinion Margarito win the fight not because he is a better boxer but he bring a great strategy. Cotto loose this fight but he loose it in the training camp.  If you have to fight a bigger boxer you have to fight to the boby,  if you can't reach the body hit the arms shoulders or jab the guy until you find the body.  it is very difficult to fight 12 rounds, backwards and trying to hit the roof.  in a rematch I think cotto could win.  congratulation mexican fans.

Yes he should be tested. nobody has been able to take the punishment that cotto was given him without showing any signs of distress. if it was like that he should have been able to eat paul williams punches and knock him out williams doesn't even have power punch.

Come on guys, Margarito didnt beat Cotto. Cotto beat him self hitting Margarito since the first second of the fight, Cotto loss the fight cause margarito is a concrete wall , but Margarito did nothing to cotto,  He was lost in the fight. Cotto got tired, tired of hitting him and basically that was it.

Listen people this isn't the first time a fighter with super human powers tested positive for steriods or some other performance enhancing drug.  Vargas, Mosley, James Toney and even Roy Jones against Ruiz. James Toneys ability to take shot after shot with no effect? Tests for steriods should be mandatory period. Look at what was revealed in Baseball and Football.  The edge that Margarito had over Cotto was a bizzare ability to take flush shots and a never ending stamina? Looked like Mosley against Delahoya, and Mosley admitted he was on the cream? a performance enhancing drung not tested for! The test results take a few weeks but if it's true that Margarito was on steriods or some other performance enhancing drug it will get UGLY for him very quick. He'll be stripped and banned from boxing.  I hope this is not the Case, although I'm a Cotto fan, I like Margarito and feel he deserves a shot at the brass ring but a cheat is a cheat. Just like Vargas against Delahoya, these guys could seriously hurt the non-cheating fighter... They need to test for all the other known performance enhancing drugs as well as steriods. It's about winning at all cost no matter what they need to do to win.. it's about Greed and having no honor.

There was also that odd issue with the Medicine Bottle? used instead of the Water Bottle in Tonys corner? in between rounds? The cornercrew specifically said "Not the water Bottle, the medicine bottle?" when the water bottle was offered to Tony by a corner rep? I hope they Kept those Bottles... Look for it in the replay of the fight.. very odd...

Margarito was just too strong for Cotto. No Cotto didn't gas himself out. Cotto ran into way too many body punches and uppercuts. Cotto should  not duck his head so d**n much and work on his defense.

I think Margarito is a great fighter all though I think Cotos problem was he didn't go for the body. When he was in trouble he didnt tight Margarit up and his cutt guy used medicine that makes it hard to breath and used to much vasseline in his nose. coto was out of breath. coto showed he alsa can take a puch coto didnt get noked down either he took a kneed. Margarita was on something to get hit so hard so many times and not get cut or swell up till after the fight. weird. adleast his eye should off swolled up. For 11 rounds coto pound him but coto should of went for the body.

If anyone hating has watched margaritos previous fights, there would be no question about how much chin he has.  He has alway charged the opponent and has always taken big hits with little damage.  He is known for taking 2 hits to give 1 big hit.  Hes a brawler! Always has been.  If any of you are commenting and dont really keep up with boxing, then I say shut up.  Boxers in Nevada recieve random tests befor fighting and mandatory after fighting.  Results are not out yet!  further more its true, steroids dont give you more chin they increase stamina and strength.  Also if a substance is in your blood it will be found. (Im a doctor).  Quit making bogus statements.  If results prove negative all of the puerto rican trash talkers will make all of puerto rico look bad.

First of all I would like to give congrats to Marg. great fight. Im not going to say that Marg. took steroids because that would not be fair to him. He was tested after the fight. Boxers get tested for steroids after a fight not before. A steroid test takes about three days to do..it wouldnt make any sense being tested before the fight because a boxer can easily inject the steroids right after the test. But that being said Cotto did land alot of power punches on Margs. jaw..and I dont care how strong you are..they may not knock you out but they will hurt you. Marg is not the bionic man. He is a good fighter..tough as nails..thats all. He showed no reaction to those punches at all..and I am certain that there are questions in the eyes of boxing officials...even in the eyes of some of his Mexican fans..I hope that the results to the test are negative..because if they arent ..it would take all the glory from that incredible fight. I am PR and a huge Cotto fan and I give my props to Marg..for his win and my props. to Cotto for fighting like a true champ. I look forward to a rematch..between the two because Im sure it will be explosive. In my opinion Cotto will win...because he is the superior boxer..and the second time around hes going to know what to expect..Because everyone who saw the fight knows that when Cotto was landing those power shots especially in the beggining of the fight they thought Marg. was going down...And in my opinion in a second fight those shots are going to be relocated to the ribs...Margs..weak spot. I'm puertorican and of course I'm a big cotto fan... All I have to say is that margarito is better bigger and stronger than cotto.. There is no excuse.. I know cotto beat him in every statistic category but no one can fight toe to toe with margarito for 12 rounds and not get hurt... Margarito deserves the win..
