Should Argentina join the 6 nations Rugby tournament?

To make it the 7 nations. They could be based out of Madrid for instance.

After this world cup showing I think they would enchance the tournament.

No. They are a southern hemisphere team so should join

Tri-Nation rugby. Given the choice I think you will find that Tri-Nation rugby would be their preference.

The only natural choice for them is 6N.

The Tri nations is so impractical for them. The distances involved make it a non-starter.

All their players play in Europe & they can be based in Spain for home matches. There is no way the players would be released for Tri Nations.

Just because Argentina is south of the equator does not qualify it for Tri-N.

It has no chance whatsoever of joining Tri-N, sorry.

Great game against France, but RSA thumped them. They have a great team at the WC but lets get real - they are still no match for the big boys. I just can't see Argentina winning a tri-nations championship. Adding more travel to the tri-nations equation will be the ruin of a tournament that is already hard enough to squeeze onto the test rugby calender.

They definitely should be playing more tests but I doubt the tri-nations or the 6 nations is the answer. They just need more tests and I'm sure with the performance they put in at this years WC, they will get more tests.

Nice to see Sphincter has appointed himself spokesperson for the good people of AUS, RSA, and NZ. - mate you no clue what the rugby unions or fans of any country thinks.

six nations rugby  why would they play in that grandad tournerment the pumas should  have automatic entry into a new southern hemisphere competition   Argentina,Australia,South Africa,New Zealand

You make the same mistake alot of people make stating NZ, AUST, SA dont want ARG in tri natuions. It maybe the respective countries rugby union dont  BUT NOT the true rugby fans in our countries

One thing is sure, they have shown once and for all that they should be welcomed in either the Tri-Nations or the 6 Nations. I don't know the reasons why New-Zealand, Ahstralia and South-africa refuse to let them in, but it's going to be more difficult now to justify their absence from any of those two tournaments. I'd be very happy to see them join the European competition, although after yesterday's trouncing, I might never see France win it again.
