Should Australia cede to the UNO, thus becoming the first country to be governed by the UN?

With an entire continent and its resources at its disposal the UN should find it easier to establish World peace and harmony bringing Fabian dreams to fruition. This new and shining example to the rest of the World could be named UNOLAND. Perhaps the Rudd Government can set up a committee of enquiry and have a referendum on this matter.
