  1. No, if mum left him of her own free will it's probably an indication that he wont survive anyway. Animals rarely abandon their offspring early for no reason.


  2. maybe not. he is there for a reason, has been abandoned by his mother for a reason, may be too weak or have a defect.

    His mother may be waiting for him out a bit deeper but if he cant find his own way there its just not ment to be. If we intervene now, what will happen next time he gets lost and cant get to his mum? there might not be people there to save him. it just wasnt ment to be.
