Question:

Should Blatant Racial Ignorance Be Tolerated?

A y.answers person called 'silly f**t'(haha) said that i should make life easier on myself and describe myself as either black or white or asian.

How can i do that if i have an equal amount of each?

When i need to, I describe my skin color as light brown, because thats what it is, i'm mixed race, neither black nor white, but both and more!

This gal told me that i should save time and basically call myself black or white.

When race matters, Why should i have to choose between my mother and my father, just to save other peoples energy?

Do you think she was wrong, or am i wrong?

  1. Your right saying that you are mixed race in my opinion. But you dont need to prove your race to anyone.

  2. Yes, it is expression.  Why should we turn a blind eye to facts for the sake of being politically correct?

  3. People are going to call you what they call you and there really is no sense in arguing with them.  I'm Black, African-American and what ever else they want to call me whether I like it or not and there is nothing I can do about it.  So I don't even bother.  Frankly I couldn't even care less anymore.

I am who I am because this is who I choose to be.
