Question:

Should Britain have George W. Bush ascend to the throne after Queen Elizabeth II dies?

Hey there...as an American, I had a question for y'all.

I was just reading how Bush and Queen Elizabeth II are distant relatives (12th Cousins), and an idea dawned on me. Why don't the British put George W. Bush next in line for the English throne? I mean, seeing as the UK has always been jealous of the USA's accomplishments and Bush's leadership, so why not just allow him to get on the throne when the queen croaks?

That way everyone wins and we can develop even stronger ties with the United Kingdom, which is our closest ally in the War on Terror. Also, I think he'd make a much better King than Prince Charles could, and he'd be the first king of England who instead of retreating to the castle at Windsor, or Balmoral, could go back to his ranch at Crawford Texas.

Let me know what y'all think.

  1. move to Britain? you serious? what would he eat, where would he get his teeth fixed and what sport would he watch....futbol?

oh yeah and their bodyguards don't carry guns

  2. 1. Britain is definitately not jealous of America, and does not consider any of the USA's "accomplishments" all that great.

    2. Britain hates Bush.

    3. Take that idiotic man back to Texas and lock him up for the public's protection.

    4. I hope NOBODY succeeds the queen, having a monarch is elitist and outdated, and if we DID have a president, I certainly would not want to follow an American style executive model.

    5. War on Terror? Don't make me laugh. It was always just a brainwashing tool the n**i Bush used to make you vote for him a second time. He didn't want to have to rig it a second time.

  3. Charles will never be king .bush has t got it either.you want a puppet like Rolland rat

  4. I think you need to do a bit of research. May be this is it. What are you so unhappy about? Has something bad happened to you in you life? What are USA achievements you speak of? Who are these Brtish or what ever you call them? Look into it, find the answers to these questions then we will all help you.

  5. As long as he is deported, I'm all for it.

  6. wow.......... this question is dumb.  yeah... he could not become the King of England because he is not in the line for the throne.

    wow.................... you are just dumb

(but if you were kidding, which I hope, LOL)

  7. Absolutely not.

  8. I believe in monarchy, It would be the closest blood relative. Besides, Bush already has screwed America over- why would we do such a thing? The queen doesn't have that much power anyways, they have a parliament system

  9. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy, nevermind my greatest ally.

  10. a muppet for a puppet.

  11. that is just the SICKEST thing I have EVER heard!! .. BUSH as KING!!!!!!!!!! OOOOOOMMMMMGGGGG!!!!!!!!... you seriously better watch what you say!! ... I'm trying my best not to be rude.. but that was just WRONG to say "think he'd make a much better King than Prince Charles could"......

  12. Although this question is (hopefully) a joke, I still shuddered at the mere thought Bush could ever be a King of the UK.

If there were a remote possibility of any Bush ruling over this country, I'd probably immigrate to Zimbabwe or Iraq, .

Seriously, we don't deserve such an honour. Better keep Bush as firmly in the US, as possible.

P.S. I think you are seriously mistaken when you think Brits are ever jealous of anything connected with USA. Of course, we have never been as great as the US, nor do we have such an ancient, noble and great history. But our little Britain still has a couple of little things to be proud of, without being 'jealous' of US.

  13. Surely he's a republican?

  14. I think you will find, if you bother to ask us, that we british people are in no way jealous of anything you americans have.

Also, I think we prefer our monarchs to have at least a modicum of brainpower so thanks, but no thanks. We don't want him.

  15. no way, have a t**t like that as our head of state it should be prince william  who takes his grans throne

  16. You need a decent upbringing to be a Monarch, something lacking in that man.

  17. George W Bush is a joke honey and couldn't organise a booze up in a brewery. UK has never been jealous of anything American------are you out of your head.?

  18. What?  Okay, I'll play.  I suppose we could always use a good laugh at the expense of Britain for a change.

  19. He speaks gibberish, so he'd fit right in.

  20. Yes, he would look nice with a crown on

  21. i am distant relative to English royal family,  my place is before bush   he doesn't have a hope in h**l

  22. Do you know how many people would have to die before the line of ascension would reach a 12th cousin?  You can't just place the ex-president of the US on the throne of England, he has to be in line, and everyone ahead of him has to die, that would be, like, all of Great Britain, before he could ascend...

    Ain't gonna happen.

  23. The nearest khazi is the best throne he will ever get here.

  24. "I think he'd make a much better King than Prince Charles "

    maybe YOU think that.

UK are jealous of the US? that so ;-)

a few words which make me think how wonderful the US is, try...

sub prime loans / ninja morgages

thanks to them they have seriously messed up my share prices in the UK.

I don't mind people from any country.. but I do mind when my share prices take a knocking because of it..

  25. Of course NOT, it would be horrible to have a Bush in England. As you say, England it isn't jealous of USA, they have much better things. Maybe they would like USA to be a colony, which they aren't. I think as they are they are fine !!!

  26. Sorry but that is a really silly question and not worth and answer

  27. are you for real?  i think you better check if your parents are related by birth.

  28. He would first have to learn English.

  29. no there are enough idiots living over here already in the little olde villiage England

  30. Well, I am closer to her than 12th cousin, so my answer would have to be a resounding, No.  He simply has no concern for the people or service to them.

He is the equivalent of George III.  We all can see in the history how that turned out ;)

  31. yes, and i could finay get that earldom that the carnegies stole from my family!
