Question:

Should Bruce Bowen be on the US team instead of Kobe?

He is a better all around defender, better role player and he can hit his open shots when he gets one. He has more experience scoring with less opportunity then kobe. Kobe needs lots of shots to be effective, and Kobe's D does not really turn into points. What do you think?

Bowen WAS a great defender...but he's never been a better all-around defender.  Kobe is great on defense, especially at the perimeter.

And Kobe's a great scorer, 50x better than Bowen ever had been.  kobe doesn't need a lot of shots to be effective, he will miss shots, but so will everyone.

Plus, the "Redeem" Team is undefeated and looking like they'll get gold, so why fix what ain't broke?

Bruce Bowen is a dirty player, and not even close to the same caliber of player as Kobe. Chris Paul punked Bowen in the Playoffs last year. He sucks.
