Should Bush get off the hook?

Today, 7/9/08, The Congress is voting whether or not telecom should get immunity of illegal wire tapping. If they get it, Bush gets off the hook for ording them to do it over 30 times, thats over thirty federal offences! When congress yesterday asked to delay the vote a few days to research the issue more guess what he said?

NO!

Why, because it was against the 4th amendment and would get you impeached and thrown in jail for the rest of you life?!

I sooooo sure our founding fathers would be oh so very proud of you today!

as there is nothing to get "off the hook for" the answer is NO.  the sad part about the clinton ignoring of al qaeda for eight years is the typical liberal faithful has no concept of the amount of damage they caused.  hopefully in november mccain can show you graphically.

I don't think there is anything for him to "get off the hook" for. Bush is by no means our best president, but people give a hard time for no reasons a lot of the time

h**l no, he should be thrown in jail and hopefully will be prosecuted once he leaves office. We have a lying criminal for a president and somehow, he gets Congress to roll over and comply every time.

If George Washington had even attempted the legislative power grabs, end runs, and infringements of the Constitution this moron has somehow accomplished, he would have been taking lunch in a dark hole somewhere, and certainly not gorging with the G8.
