That's how Clinton got that surplus that liberals love to rub in conservatives faces, but real conservatives know that's not what Social Security is for.

  1. already has................................

  2. No, he is a better man than Clinton.

  3. No, the dems have already arranged to steal it all already.

  4. No, actually our Politicians should shore Social Security up, and pass something that would never allow any Politician no matter what their stature to never be able to do as such again.

Yes, Clinton was the one to rob Social Security to shore up his deficit!!!!  I personally think the man and all other Politicians who went along with this should be tried.

  5. That's what John Sidney wants to do - so I'm sure it's the plan that Bush is thinking about.....

support for McCain equals a 3rd term for Bush

  6. i personally don't care that much about bush or clinton anymore - im looking to the future.

yes its important to remember and learn from the past, but you have to move on and try to make things better no matter how good or bad they are now.

  7. This is a bi partisan responsibility.

And for what its worth , Bush already TRIED to do this with his failed attempt to privatize Social Security by tying it to the stock market.

I am never surprised at what Bush tries to do.

  8. Yeah, and while he's at it, why don't he lead our armed forces into a war that we can't win over some WMD's that he sold them in the first place.  Oh wait, he already did that! Tard!

  9. According to the terms of the Social Security Act, all money collected by SSA in a year and not spent by SSA on benefits and expenses must be turned over to the Department of the Treasury.  All SSA gets in return is a receipt in the form of a non-negotiable bond.  After the money gets into the treasury, Congress quickly spends it on c**p.  If and when SSA ever starts presenting these bonds for repayment, one wonders what will happen.

  10. Congress beat him to it.
