Question:

Should Canterbury-Bankstown be considered a separate region instead of south-western Sydney?

Because on the news, most the time when the south-west is mentioned, it is the outer suburbs such as Liverpool and beyond and this can make the stereotypes about the area affect Canterbury-Bankstown too eg. I always hear comments others make when I walk past them in uniform from a school in Canterbury-Bankstown. Should Canterbury-Bankstown be a seperate region of Sydney on its own? Or is this the case already?

  1. That's a bit racist

  2. I think it should be a seperate region because it is so far away from Liverpool etc.

I would call it as poor man's inner-west.

  3. Are you for real? We hear more negatives about Canterbury Bankstown than we do about Liverpool and beyond.
