  1. If you are exposing children to all of the good that can be found in books, then you can't discount any good writing simply because it comes from a source inside the world of Islam.

If you have concerns about the content, message and intent of the books on this site, simply read them yourself and decide whether they are appropriate for your child.

I have personally read works by authors the world over. Some I have found to be useful to me and others were simply leisure reading.

When your child reads, it opens up a world of possibilities. Dialogue between you and your child can open their mind up to what could be between nations, people and creeds.

Who is to say that what a child reads won't determine the mark they make for themselves in this world?

Take each text on a case by case basis and evaluate the relative merits. For instance, the book on the honey bees has some quotes from the Q'uran. If you are offended by the used of those quotes, don't read the books.

    Good luck!
