Of course they should.

They are an independent nation with every right to.

The Opening Ceremony was stunning. (Disregarding the lip syncing issue)

In fact, having the Olympics held in China has had a positive effect on them: the media attention drawn to the pollution is effectively a means of lobbying to deal with the issue.

The technology is extraordinarily advanced - precise and reliable.

The judging controversy is a slight concern, but overall, nothing to BAN them from ever hosting the Olympics again.

Aside from a few public relations issues, the organization has been pretty much sound.  The only major problem was one stabbing incident and from what I can tell they handled it well.  There is absolutely no ground to bar China from hosting the Olympics.

yes they are doing a great job. The opening ceremonies was the best I've seen.

Well, yeah, why not? I just hope what's happening now won't be happening again(Including the fakes and cheating).

Funny, they said 08,08,08, would be lucky, but it doesn't seem like it-more like the opposite! lol

I have seen no reason for them not to be able to host them again. The Venues are both secure/safe and technologically second to none. Athletes Village is reputed to being akin to 5 star accommodation. There has been no major incidents - and there is really no compelling reason right now to prevent them from holding it again.

Its not like there has been bin bombs or hostage taking.

These questions are sounding more and more like sour grapes with every passing moment.

Well if they do I think they need to do some adjustments. I am not saying that the actual olympic games are going bad, but it is the whole preperation and opening ceremony and things like that.. but yea, I think they should be allowed again.
