Sure it's only a replica but just think of how he would manhandle the Stanley Cup if he ever got his hands on it. Oh wait, isn't the Stanley Cup they hand out to the winning team also a replica? Oh well...

  1. Thats not the first time it has been broken.

  2. Nah. The kid didn't mean to. Just his dumb luck. He now has a place in hickey history for it.

  3. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!! The look on their faces was priceless!

  4. It doesn't appear like he dropped it so i don't feel he deserves any type of punishment.  The Cup just broke in half from what appears to have been the weight of it from holding it from both ends.  If you watch it closely, the heavier end drops but he's still holding on to the smaller, lighter end of the trophy.  If the Cup was indeed dropped by Bruton, the entire Cup would be on the floor, not just one end of it where there is no handle.  Poor guy though.....his life must have flashed before his eyes in that minute or two.

  5. I watched the game. I thought it was funny (not haha funny) but funny.

  6. I was watching it and the trophy just sort of fell apart in the poor kids hands.  It's not like he dropped it and it smashed into a million pieces.....the look of horror on the guys face was pretty funny though.

  7. It was a replica anyways...no big deal.

  8. banning him from hockey for life seems like a cruel and unusual punishment dont ya think?  he was handing off the trophy to his teammate and it broke in half.  I dont think the cup will ever be mishandled like that ever.  plus, he did just win the championship as captain of his team right?  he wont be leaving the hockey scene any time soon.

  9. Look on the bright side, after that two people got to hoist it at once.

Nic: He dropped it, it didn't just fall apart on him.

  10. man, when i saw the cup break i laughed sooo hard!

anyways, no i dont think chris should be suspended, i mean the top just came un screwed from the bottom half. its not like chris threw it to the ground and started dancing on in.

  11. No, we all drop things. He's probobaly just a weak little t**d that has no arm strenth. They should have told him he could only touch it, not hold it.

  12. No, but he is becoming a YouTube star now.
