  1. Fallen Angle gimm was better but I don't see that whole prince justice group breaking down soon

  2. NO I AM TIRED OF CHRISTOPHER DANIELS

OLD GIMMICK I THINK CURRYMAN GIMMICK

IS BEST FOR HIM IN TNA HE NEEDS TO

    STAY WITH THE CURRENT GIMMICK

  3. I think he should go back, and I HATE the frickin' "Curry Man".  I hate him! And the reason that Daniels should go back to "The Fallen Angel" ASAP, is for a reason called "SELF-RESPECT".  No, it's not a shiny belt that he can wear, or a red-hot storyline that he can immediately dive into.  However, WITH it, (his self-esteem, that is..) when Daniels is 50 or 60 years old...he'll be able to sleep a little better at night.

  4. I like his fallen angle gimmick but that gimmick he was used as a jobber so i gotta say curry man.He has  a better push as curry man and i like it when he has a nice push

  5. This won't be a popular answer but you asked.

The Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels, is my favorite TNA "original".  Yes, even over the awesome AJ Styles.

Should he go back to that gimmick?  No, for the same reason Donovan T and King Kjors wrote.

    Now, I'm going to pontificate:

Most wrestling fans only watch the WWE, there is no disputing that (this section alone is full of "wwe rulz, tna sux" fans).  TNA, to attract a larger audience, has to give those fans a WWE-like show.  What does the WWE emphasize?  Right, wacky and/or over-the-top "characters", including superheroes and supervillains (I guess I'm the only one who sees "Super Eric" as a little shot at Vince's love of superheroes).  That started with the original Superman, Hulk Hogan, and continues today with the likes of "The Animal" Batista and the wealthy Yosemite Sam-like supervillain JBL.

WWE fans, who TNA is trying to sway, don't want to see Sonjay Dutt wrestle Jay Lethal for a championship they know nothing about, that's just boring.  Those WWE fans really don't care all that much about the wrestling skills of Dutt and Lethal; they want to see the cartoon characters "Black Machismo" and "The Guru" fighting over some chick.

"The Fallen Angel" is boring to WWE fans.  "Um, what is he supposed to be?  He don't sacrifice people, he don't spit blood, he don't make the ring catch on fire.  What IS he?"  "Curry Man", they can understand.  He's a goofy character they can laugh with (or at), dance with, and have a good time watching his comical antics.

"The Fallen Angel" is a TNA gimmick for the TNA fans; they know Daniels and appreciate his skills.  "Curry Man" is a WWE-type gimmick (I know it originated in Japan) for the WWE fans TNA hopes will become TNA fans; a harmless spectacle they can dance with.

"The Fallen Angel" really has no place in the current TNA, sadly.  He was a main event wrestler, but now there are far too many main eventers with bigger names and more star power.  "The Fallen Angel" would be relegated to mid-card and/or jobber status, and Christopher Daniels doesn't deserve that.  "Curry Man" is not "really" Christopher Daniels (sshhh, it's a secret), it's a mid-card comedy wrestler, no matter who puts on that suit.

"Curry Man" is an entertaining character and does have a place in today's TNA.  For the time being, Daniels should continue to play this character.

  6. Yes,he should go back to the old gmmick.

I wanna see the best moonsault ever and angels wings!!!

  7. You're DEFINATELY not the only one who doesn't like it. I hated it from the start. A masked man with curry on his head that does a stupid dance...not entertaining at all. Bad gimmick. I don't know why Daniels recieved this gimmick, but it looks like a demotion and punishment to me. The Fallen Angel gimmick was much better, and it looked like he was finally on the brink of a main event push when he had his deal with Sting a while back, but it was obviously nixed for whatever reason.

  8. curry man was fun for the first few weeks....

but come on and show the fans your true talents and stop playing to the 6 to 13 yr old demographic.

the faster he returns to being christopher daniels the better

  9. I see it like this:

If he goes back to being "The Fallen Angel", will that get Christopher Daniels on television or doing anything in a storyline? Will he be used at all beyond losing and looking worse than he does? The Fallen Angel gimmick is a better one, but if that doesn't get him doing anything, not even decent promos leading to something, then what's the point of going back?

  10. Of course he shouldn't go back to the Fallen Angel. Unless of course you want to see him used as a jobber when he is rarely used. Curry Man is probaly one of the most popular gimmicks in TNA right now. Why go from a gimmick that is completely over with the fans to a gimmick that less than half the fans even care about.

  11. DEAR LORD YES! THIS GIMMICK SUCKS! Bring back the fallen angle.
