No like all public sector workers they should be compensated for fuel allowances rather than having to pay for it from their original salary.

Alistair Darling has no excuse for not increasing the mileage allowance immediately and to compensate the nurses for the money they have lost over the last six years.He has no problem forking out money for fraudulent expenses for MPs

I think most community nurses would settle for the milage rate that MP's get
