  1. Of course, it was a great plane that had ONE crash.  I don't see American Airlines or United being shut down because they're planes were hijacked.  I don't see other airlines being shut down because of accidents.  They happen, to almost every airline and every type of plane.  I never understood why Concorde was singled out and so permanently grounded.

  2. Expensive to operate and no real benefit.  Short trips overseas were trendy, but with all the security delays now there's really not much advantage.

    I would say no.

  3. Hey ! You may visit this site http://www.concordesst.com and you may get some information.

  4. YES! I never got a chance to fly it. I want to fly in it in the future so I hope they bring it back.

  5. the only reason it crashed was because of a DC10 so its safe. it might not be good for the environment, but I would fly in it if I could

  6. I think aviation enthusiasts including myself would love to see Concorde flying again.  But I am sure environmentalists would not like to see that airplane airborne.  The Concorde is a pretty expensive plane to operate.  Also they are pretty old and the airplane manufacturers do not make spare parts for them anymore.  From what I heard, British Airways and Air France were using parts from their other Concordes to keep their Concordes flying.

  7. I would unhappily say no.

The airframes are over 30 years old.  Not too many commercial aircraft still flying safely at that age.

Unlike a typical airliner that might have a minor problem in flight, a Concord flying at Mach 1+ doesn't have minor problems.  They become major problems.

  8. i think that it should be opened

this way people could get around a lot faster

it is a convenient airline that should re-open
