  1. why not? there is just as much proof of it as there is for evolution or inteelegent design. Evolution violates the second law of thermo dynamics. In spite of years of searching there has been nothing even close to a missing link and evolution doesnt make any logical sense mathematically.

Fine i will give you the several billion to one chances that life began by chance in a cell. who did a mate of that cell exist randomly? then numbers for that are off the chart.

Does life evolve and adapt? yes of course it does. does that mean thats how it was created?

  2. I don't have any problem with that; just don't teach it as a science.  Science is something that can be observed, demonstrated or proven, um, scientifically.

Teach it in philosophy or religion class instead.

  3. I might ask the same question about political correctness.

  4. That is not what she wants.  She simply does not want any discussion censored so that creationism cannot be brought up in conversation on the origin of the universe..

  5. Creationism is not a valid scientific theory. It's a religious belief. Evolution is a scientific theory. In science a theory is not just speculation, it means a hypothesis that has been proven by tangible evidence. Like gravity or the theory of general relativity.

The only acceptable way Creationism could or should be taught in public schools is in the context of comparative religion in a social studies class. It should not be taught as a fact. Learning about it as a Christian belief, alongside the interpretations of other religions, is informative and beneficial. Keep it out of the science classrooms, though.

  6. All major competing theories should be taught.  I'm not into censorship.

  7. sure, why not?...I love the ones who answer it shouldn't based on them saying there's no scientific evidence to back it up----guess what--they have no scientific evidence to say it's NOT true either...so much for science!

  8. Creationism has a place in schools...Sunday Schools.  Evolution, and Creationism are both theories, but if you believe the world is 6,000 years old you simply must ignore hundreds of scientific claims to the contrary.

  9. Great idea let's teach the theory of god using the same scientific rules that the theory of evolution is taught with .That should be a lot of fun

The real problem is that people like Palin who are advocating  this kind of nonsense are really dangerous for American because while American students are wasting their time learning religous fairy tales, students in other countries are learning the hard sciences that one day will allow them to achieve technical superiority over America.

  10. No. Only in sunday school and at private schools. No matter how much they say otherwise, creationism is a religious theory that has zero real scientific evidence to back it up. Truth is they only want to use it to indoctrinate other peoples children.

  11. all sides of all issues should be given. to not do so is fascism.

Thumbs down???? so Dem's you are okay with fascism?

  12. I think if they can prove it, they ought to be able to teach it.
