  1. Nope, he does not need to be in the slam dunk contest

  2. yes

  3. YES BUT HAVE A WHEELCHAIR READY.!!

  4. yeah no duh he is a great at dunking and he is on the olympic team!! there is no way in my mind that he should not be considered!!

  5. He won't be because the slam dunk contest as it is right now only takes four participants who have been in the NBA for a relatively short period of time and for the most part are unknowns to league when they first got invited to the dunk contest.  After all it is called the "rising stars" slam dunk contest rather than the all stars slam dunk contest for a reason.

Yes, Dwight was in the contest last year and was in his fourth season.  However, he probably was in it last year because he was snubbed the year before for the sticker slam.

The only competition Wade would ever have a realistic chance to be in is the Skills challenge, which he already was in a couple years ago, with Lebron, Kobe, and Paul. He could be in it again.

EDIT: If Wade were ever to get in the NBA slam dunk contest,  the league would have to change the rules to allow the stars back in.  That also means no more Fred Joneses, no more Nate Robinsons and no more Gerald Greens.
