Should Dan Parks be dropped and Chris Paterson replace him at number 10?

It is a good question wether Parks should be dropped. If you saw the Scotland game on Saturday you should have seen parks playing in the back row, fairly succesfully. For this i have two answers-

1.Yes he should be dropped from the squad comepletely because he jus isn't Rugby Union material, and Patterson replace him as fly half, Seeing as Patterson was the ONLY PLAYER IN THE WORLD CUP TO SCORE EVERY ONE OF HIS CONVERSIONS AND PENALTIES.

2. Parks should be dropped from the fly half 10 spot, but should be moved backwards to the wings instead.

No, No, No, NO!!!  This has been tried on numerous occasions and has not worked. Everyone has to get it into their head that Patterson although a good player is *NOT* a natural stand-off, like for example; Hook, Wilkinson or O'Gara.

Patterson needs to pick a position and stick with it! I would tell him to concentrate on full-back, put on a bit more bulk and watch some matches G. Hastings played in...

Well, you must admit, Patterson did have a good game against Wales, he tackled well and made some good hits. He also made an impact when he came on against France!

He is the best player Scotland has at the moment!

I am not so sure, Parks is an out and out fly half and Paterson is better utilised in the outer backs at full back or maybe inside centre, maybe in a Mike Catt role at inside centre would give the scottish backs more creativity....

So why replace when there is scope to use both in the same side?.

stick with parks at number ten as patterson can play elsewhere in the backs and should be in the starting line up as he is probably the best kicker in world rugby

Paterson is a better player and Parks isn't on the best of forms so Paterson would have to replace parks.
