  1. Yea, he should retire, he lost to Mayweather, and he just bearely beat Steve Forbes. IF he ISN't Going to retire, he's going to suffer brain damage.

  2. for money.

  3. Oscar in my opinion has gotten better with age. More ruthless and hitting harder than ever before. But I do think he only has, at the very least, 2 or 3 more good fights left in him. Like all fighters will tell you, the fighting is the easy part, it's the hard constant training that takes it's toll!

  4. No, he should not retire. He is still very capable of fighting at a high level, but the end of the year is a good timetable. He should fight Winky Wright first at 154. Then, on December 6 he should fight Margarito at 147 or a catch weight. The fight should be at Dodger Stadium or in Mexico, since both have huge fan bases in both places.

(Heck, I could go for another Mosley fight.)

  5. He should soon, but why not fight once more?  According to the numbers, people obviously wanna still watch his fights.  I think a lot of people are upset he didn't beat PBF, but he still has a chance to beat a lot of fighters.

  6. Cotto. Cotto needs a vindication fight and oscar needs a credible fighter. plus beating oscar(who has a similar build like margaritto) will propell the need for a rematch even faster. you can still do the mexico-rico battle a little bit. and Cotto's loss actaully makes the fight less one-sided. fighting manny is pointless because he is so little and fighting margarito is pointless because it doesn't sell well with oscar slipping and tony rising in their careers.

  7. Yes, he should retire. He's already become a trialhorse for the division's elite. He's proven he can no longer compete at the top level, though he always looks fantastic against B-level guys like Mayorga and Forbes, which, I guess, makes the idiotic public think he's still got a shot at beating somebody of worth. His last win over a top-level opponent was in 2002 against Vargas, who IMO was already damaged goods after his fight with Trinidad. That's six years without a victory against a world-class fighter. Time to pack it in.

  8. If it makes dollars, It makes sense!

  9. Its about money, as long as the money keeps rolling in, he is not going to retire
