Should Dennis Nilsen be released being a serial killer?

He's a British serial killer (62 y/o right now) who between 1978 and 1983, killed 15 young men (his night's partners) because he was afraid of loneliness. He dismembered the bodies.

He was sentenced to life with possibility of parole in 2008. Should he be released?

well he has lots of company now, they should keep it that way.

It depends on his state of mental health, and whether he represents a danger to the public - also, a transfer to secure hospital might possibly be appropriate.

I would have to say no....but if the European Court of Human Rights outlaws lifelong imprisonment as a violation of human rights..this guy will probably be walking the streets searching for prey again........
