  1. I'm sure it's because of his KKK association, and not the name ... although the irony is pretty funny ...

  2. What elected position?

    Ah, got it. http://www.davidduke.com/general/republi...

David Duke is a hate monger, too. Must bite both of them (and Black's father) that Obama is the Democratic nominee.

  3. Who is Derek Black?  I've never heard of anyone not being hired because of their name.

  4. Let me get this out first, I am not racist. I just believe that what is good for the goose, is good for the gander.

No I do not think he should be prevented. Lets put the shoe on the other foot..

If he were the republican son of a Black Panther, (yes, that is a racist group), and was removed from the position (Which I don't believe they would have done) there would be HUGE media and a national cry. The ACLU would be involved as well as every lawyer within a million mile radius.

Now. Lets look at it this way. Why should the son be labeled for the decisions of the father? My dad was a US Marine Corps Sniper with many kills. Technically, that makes him a murderer. Does that make me one as well?

When we signed up to vote, we were never asked what our beliefs were, nor we any of us advised that certain beliefs would/could exclude us from being able to participate in our parties functions. Many of our forefathers died, and many of our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers fight for our rights to have these beliefs every day.  The decision of the republican party is a slap in the face to both the constitution and every solider in our country.
