Should Dhoni be the captain of our test team too?

Cricket experts praised his captaincy in the 3rd test against South Africa which India won.

According to many,his captaincy was better than Kumble.

Actually, I agree. Dhoni should be made captain of the Indian Test team. I know there is a lot of comments about Dhoni wanting to get rid of the senior players, and is better at captaining the younger members of the side, but they are the future of Indian cricket.

His captaincy is good: he leads his side with real verve, and a "let's-go-and-win-it" mentality. He is bold, imaginative and inspirational. So make Dhoni captain of the Test team.

I was just thinking: Dhoni is probably the best Captain for 20x20.

Not even for ODI. He has struggled in these, even if they did end in a win as in Australia.

We were remembering the 3rd Test against SA. I think India would have won there even if we had Sree for a Captain, l0l.  Infact it was hilarious to see Sree and Ishant hitting away to add to the total.

BCCI needs to shed some politics and do something here.

Edit: Also remember, in order to be a good Captain and concentrate on the match and field, Dhoni took himself 'off' from wicket keeping, in the IPL finals.

I think a wicket keeper/batsman is the perfect position to be captain.

This is by far the best indian test side ever, and india has finally found genuine fast quality swing and seam bowlers in Ishant sharma and zaheer khan who are world class, backed up by sreesanth and rp singh. The spin quartet is by far the strongest in the world. And the batting has always been strong since the last 15 years

Actually now with the inclusion of sehwag, a tail end that can churn out about 20 runs each and a realtively decent wicket keeper batsmen, india probaly has the strongest batting lineup ever.

However if dhoni becomes captain, he would probaly try to take all the seniors out, and put in sloggers like himself in the side, like yusuf, raina and utthapa lol. Moreover he will get all the praise and stuff if india wins, and people from india will start l*****g his **** even more
