  1. that would be awesome...

  2. without a doubt. most don't consider it a sport, however little do they know!

  3. I doubt there would be much of an audience for it outside of areas where you can surf.

  4. YES!

blah this, blah, blah, that...many of you would never have

even known about surfing if guys didnt use home movie

footage, and compile a one hour soundless film. my point is

its happening and if ESPN gets in...more coverage, our

pros get more money and a no body can be a some body

once they make it to elimination trials. Look at TOW-INS

h**l man id be crapping all ova myself on some of those

faces but the coverage is there and i watch it too. yeah theres

changes at home spots and some of my brothers think like

some of you out there, i seek a positive solution here and any

    place i am...life is short...2bz.

  5. Surfing has great coverage on FUEL TV.  I seriously hope ESPN never gets its grubby paws on anything surf-related.

  6. they cover everything else, from table tennis,, texas hold em to

tractor pull, and not everyone enjoys those so called "sport" so i wouldnt mind if they did cover surfing. kooks already invade my break over the summer anyways but when winter comes the water is less crowded and only the dedicated surfers are out,

  7. NO...

surfing should not be exploited anymore than it has been... it's already too crowded...

  8. Isn't your break already crowded?  Don't you think it would only get more crowded if surfing gets any more exposure than it already has?  We need to start putting it out that surfing is extremely how to say...g*y?  Break the crowds, drive them away to something more in tune with their lifestyles like hmmm car racing perhaps.

  9. I think it would be good to see some coverage of the surfing scene.  Maybe as a weekly highlights show.  I doubt it would have much impact on the crowds.

  10. Considering that ESPN covers the Scrabble championship and the World Series of Poker, anything's possible.  If you want to see some surfing coverage, you might want to see if FUEL TV, an extreme sports network, is available from your cable or satellilte provider.

  11. Is a sport.. they SHOULD...

is interesting and requires a lot a lot of skills!

But as any company. their main goal is to make a profit... and the audience for surfing is limited in the states.....

lack of viewers = no money ....

so... I don't think they will anytime soon.

but they do play poker, right :x
