Rusty Wallace is one of the greatest drivers of all-time, but he is probably the worst commentator ever.

He should be replaced with Dale Jarrett, because he is much better.

  1. Oh you mean old "Crusty" himself?  Of course

  2. Yeah, he's being replaced by DJ.

The thing is, Rusty's not the greatest of commentators, but I've never thought he was as bad as people say he is..

  3. I disagree . . . Rusty is a good color commentator.  At least he knows what he's talking about . . .

  4. No I think Rusty does a great job. I mean it is not like he sits there and only talks about his son(Steve Wallace) and David Stremme!

  5. The only good thing about him is that he knows how a driver would feel at some moment or time in the race. That's pretty boring if u ask me...

  6. He is being replaced by Dale Jarrett in the booth. Rusty will just be doing the pre-race show. They have already done it for a few races in the Nationwide series this year. It will be full time soon. I wish I could give you more dates but when ABC/ESPN take over the cup series coverage at the Brickyard Rusty will not be in the booth. Rusty is terrible.

  7. Yes please dump him so I can watch the race with the sound ON instead of OFF - he just doesnt know when to stop talking!!  Kyle Petty does a good job too (different network I guess) but Dale Jarrett is much better than Rusty

  8. Yes I agree Rusty isn't very good.  I think he is trying way to hard instead of letting it flow he is trying to push and be kind of obnoxious.  Dale Jarrett would be much better.

  9. yes thank you i aint never liked him

  10. most definitely

  11. Indeed, show Rusty the door and bring in Dale Jarrett

  12. YES!  It is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

DJ is a million times better!
