  1. Prefer both.

    What do you think?

  2. its the future we cant fight it. Although I favor print I dont always want to have to look a t a screen.

  3. No I don't think so, what about brochure and leaflets.  like to hold a news paper , i like the sound of the paper but then it can happen no more printings

  4. I prefer print.  Although I read my news online- because its free and I find it easier- I still think print is better.  I guess I'm more of a traditional person when it comes to this. And like another answerer stated, its more likely to be accurate if it comes from a printed source.  I cannot trust many online sources.  That's why I only read from the big names...and only choose a small name if I need to find a quick source (but not really become educated or find it important).  I tend to stick with the big ones.  The Economist is one I read a lot and I find them accurate ,.

  5. printed can be more credible. i generally prefer electronic when its from a trusted source though.

  6. When it comes down to comparing print or static media over electronic or recorded media, broadcasting can be stored and archived like print, they all are good sources for news media.

Newspapers today are losing subscribers, because of their content, and competition from various electronic media like the internet. And because of this, newspapers do not have a corner on the market for news anymore.

You’d think that the newspapers would change the way the present the news, but this has not happened at all in my opinion. They are one-sided and usually take the liberal point of view in most of the editorials. If I was in charge of the newspaper, I would present a more balanced type of print. Why have the news papers only written negative stories about the war in Iraq, when the surge has  been so successful.

The most egregious aspect is content which is driving down sales, and putting the newspapers into turmoil where staff is being laid off. Start printing a paper that people will want to read.

  7. Because there is much effort involved to have a printed story, I would trust printed news more than electronic.

However, with the big push to be 'green' and the faster rate of producing news electronically, it is inevitable that eletronic will takeover and be hard to resist.
