  1. He is with the right team. Both Eli and the Giants are over-rated commodities who promise a lot more than they deliver.

If Eli's name was Eli Smith then he might have been picked up in the 5th or 6th round and made a career out of being a backup. The fact that his Father and Brother were both great QB's ( Peyton is a stud ), opened a lot of doors for him. He has a big arm, but is erratic. He will lose you just as many games as he wins, and is far too inconsistent to be a successful starter in the NFL. He will never win a SuperBowl as a starter.

The Giants will stick with him as they gave up far too many players to get him and wouldnt want the embarrassment. Much like another New York team, the Knicks, they arent very good at admitting their mistakes and would rather stand by poor decisions than admit error.

Eli and the Giants are over-rated underachievers.

  2. im not even sure if i can answer that question...lol he is so unpredictable any given sunday. I'm just glad im not a Giants fan. I think mannings should try talking up curling or some other sport

  3. The real question should be.

Who is the Eli Manning bird and what is she doing in the Australian Football section?

  4. Who??????

  5. I really can't answer that question. There are soo many opinions on that question its not funny. He could have the talent, or is just a wannabe.

  6. I think Eli Manning has earned his spot as a quarterback for the NY Giants.  EVERY quarterback has struggled.  People were calling for Brett Favre's retirement a few years ago, yet the GB Packers seem to be doing just fine and he's broken a couple of records as a QB.  People need to quit comparing Eli to Peyton, they're different men, different players.  Same with comparing both boys to their father.

Each man is a good QB in their own right.

  7. Yeah i mean he is worthy of a spot in the NFL, as a second or third string QB.  He is a HORRIBLE starter.  He hasnt progressed a bit since his inception into the NFL, his QB rating is stuck in the 70's, his completion percentage is never above 60%, he continues to throw almost as many INT's as TD's every single year, and he is LUCKY to have had Tiki Barber for so long and to have Plaxico Burress still or i would have to believe that he wouldnt complete a pass during the entire season.
