  1. He cannot politically survive. The longer he stays in will drag down the state Democratic Party and overshadows the presidential nomination process. If he doesn't go voluntarily, the push will come from party power brokers.


  2. Without a doubt.  He's done.  He was caught in an immoral and ILLEGAL act.

  3. YES - interesting that he endorsed Hillary and he turns out to be so much like Bill!

  4. Probably should. Paying five thousand dollars for a hooker when you ran your campaign on anti-corruption just undermines your entire office.

  5. Nothing so graceful. He should be impeached and then brought up on criminal charges and be made an example of.

  6. Most definately. The sheriff of wall street turned out to be immoral. I dont know how he can continue on now given his past as attorney general, at which time he broke up prostitution rings, and dogged corporate new york.  It just goes to show that you never really know what some of these politicians are really all about.

  8. He will. If it's the right thing to do or not is a question only thoses live in NY should answer. We don't know the full story I suspect he is trying to stay out of jail and is runnung his mouth not stop to the U.S. DA giving up every one he know about involved in the organization and he most likley knows plenty.

  9. Let him prove his innocence in this matter.  Other than that, he should have his head examined.

    Something has gone seriously wrong when a former ethical career prosecutor is tied to prostitution in Washington, DC.

    Very strange and twisted.  Smells like a setup, Karl Rove style.  Rove did the same thing to the governor of Alabama who was railroaded into prison so that a Republican could take over.

    People need to watch out for Karl Rove tactics when they are in politics.  

    Spitzer is off his game.
