He was lucky to have a good squad and great captain.

He failed with the British lions tour and he will fail with the current England squad because they lack quality....

I can't see the point of it.A manager is only as good as his players.He had some of the best players in the world leading up to 2003 world cup.Who he wants back, are the likes of Jonno (Martin Johnson),Billy Whiz(Jason Robinson),Jason Leonard,and Lally(Laurence Dalaglio)to name but a few.Once they all started leaving,it all started to go wrong. England also has a massive injury list.Hopefully Lally, will be fit again soon,though I somehow fear that Wilko's international career is over.

Yes England yet again were awful yesterday even though they scraped a win.England with this side under the present Captain and Coach have no chance at the World cup.

No way Jose. Giving Clive his old job back would be like handing a depressive a loaded gun and winking seductively. Firstly, England needs to decide which is more important, a solid club scene, or a powerful national team. After they settle that dilema, they can move on to giving Robinson his walking papers and looking for a new boss. Finally, once the first two have been squared away, England needs to stop trolling the retirement centers for players who were good ages ago. Sorry Wilko but you're just too old and broken to be playing test rugby. England has the most money and viable players, they can certainly scrounge up some new boys to put in white.
