  1. No, you can't blame it on Knights.

Essendon got a list of injuries early this season. The list is getting younger there too which means at times the club will struggle, the same thing happened at Hawthorn a few years back and no one wants Clarkson to leave.

Give the guy a chance to put it all together he might actually be coaching finals in a season or 2

  2. No. I answered a question similar to this yesterday.

You have to give this guy a fair go. Since round 2 his list has been crippled by injuries and each week has become worse! Keep in mind that prior to the injuries in the Bulldogs game, the Dons won their first two!

In the last round against the Swans he had a few players back but their match experience for this year has been rather limited. He has also been missing players through suspension.

I don't think anyone could have copped a worse start to their first year as senior coach! When he has got his full list back to capacity, judge his performance then.

  3. Nah essendon are just going through a tough patch

  4. no way mate dont worry bout the winning ratio, essendon is a good side and knights is in it for long term. he's smart young and previously had a connection with essendonfc

so no 2011 is the yr bombers will get in top4

  5. no you cant blame it all on Knights, he is doing the right thing and playing all the kids

  6. no

they have as twice as many wins as wce

  7. You are kidding right?

Have some faith in the man, Bombers are rebuilding..

It won't happen over nite but it will happen..

  8. i think they should give him more of a chance. but its their own fault they got rid of Sheeds....

  9. Yes! most definatly, they should atleast bring back Sheeds, he was a legend! (Even though the dons still didnt win)

Its not so much the coach though, i think its just the players. If Essendon had 3 full forwards, all identical to Scotty Lucas then yeh theyd win. Hehe :D

  10. no, he's just starting out as Head Coach, got to give him some time,  in a few years they'll be up there

  11. Of course he knows what he is doing, this would all of been part of his plan, he would of liked a few more wins but thems the breaks, he is blooding young blokes for the future,  his club knows this. so do most footy heads.

Essendon will be up and down, always the way with young blokes, they'll end up winning 5-6 games, they will be be better next year. slowly building up to 8-12 games. just my thoughts.

  12. No.

Who would they replace him with? Sheedy was past his use by date & Essendon got rid of him. The Dons had finished in the bottom four for the last 3 to 4 years of Sheedy's coaching.

  13. Christ no he has a plan let him implement it

wait to the end of the season and see some deadwood being cast adrift at bomberland

thats when he can start doing his thing
