  4. Yes he should! Fight someone who's worth a d**n! Not taking anything away from Oscar or Hatton but they just weren't fast enough to last with Mayweather. Margarito is faster, and better at throwing combos than Mayweather. Why do u think he retired? He knows he couldnt take on someone like Margarito or any of these up and cominf fighters. Mayweather never proved anything to me in his career except fighting a bunch of older bumbs.

  5. I would like to see that fight.  Mayweather is about money and is also very skilled against the powerful and tough Margarito.  It would be a big gate attraction no doubt.

  10. YES!    ITS EASY  MONEY  for Floyd.   Oscar De La Hoya is a lot faster than both  Margarito and Cotto and Oscar Could Not land a clean punch thru 12 rounds. Why?  Because Floyds defense is 2nd to none!  Margo throws wide Looping puches that Stevie Wonder could see coming miles away.  Yeah, Margo may have a solid chin and keep coming but Floyd is gonna pile up points or win by Late round TKO.  Floyd may be cocky  but he can back it up in the ring.  The biggest difference in Cotto and Floyd is intelligence. Floyd is 1 of the smartest fighters today. Diego Coralles was a lot bigger than Floyd but Floyd stopped him by late round K.O.  Speed kills, and Floyd is the total Pkg. Speed, Power, Defense, Intelligence.  Hes a class ABOVE Cotto, Margo & even Manny P.   He'll   Tear Margo's  *** UP & send him back to Tijuana on a Boat.  Like it or Not Floyd is P4P the best out there now.  And For you all that think he ducked  Margo in 2006, He only turned down 8 Million in 06 to Make 20 Million in 2007 whipping De La Hoya.  He also needed time to recover from Whipping Carlos Baldomir.  Margo called him out after he whipped Baldomir in 06.   14. People talk so much about Mayweather's punching style... Truth is... Mayweather retired, ducking Cotto and Mayweather... watching these two real champions fight on Saturday is proof that Mayweather would take neither of them.

    Cotto's technique, skill and power would definitely outweigh what Mayweather has to offer anyday. Reason Margarito's not down is because of his "oh-so-talked-aboout" chin. Margarito can take hits. If he can take the great combos back to back that Cotto gave him on Saturday and not feel a thing, no doubt Mayweather won't do much of a difference, even if he was slightly stronger than Cotto.

    Face it, Cotto will outbox Mayweather, while Margarito would drop him worse than he did Cotto.

    To answer your question, though, Yes, I would love to see them fight, for the sole reason of replacing Mayweather's "0" for a "1" and to shut his big mouth. Only then does he have permission to retire.... Knowing he's not the best.

  15. I believe that it's a fight all boxing fans would like to see. However, as unpopular as he is at times, Mayweather has been a great entertainer and has proven himself beyond question. Why should he continue to box until such time he's beaten by a mediocre opponent? This is no sport, it's a business and getting out at the right time is a skill in itself. Let him stay at home and count his money.

  17. floyd mayweather should come out of retirement to fight anybody...i hate how loud and cocky he is but at the same time i liked him. who else puts on acts like he does at press conferences and builds a fight up like him.? plus he was a genius in the ring.he was the most entertaining fighter. But to answer your question  I think mayweather vs margarito would be a great fight.Mayweather would win though.
