  1. this is America,isnt it???

  2. yeah its o.k.! :D don't worry what other people think of you .

  3. Sure thing, might not wanna tell yer mates or w/e. Chick flicks like that are ok to watch with your girl friend or friends who are girls, but not exactly what you bring to friday movie night at John's place lol And the notebook was a good movie too. At least, thats what i know

  4. Yeah, but you should watch something by John Cassavetes instead. "Shadows," "Faces," "A Woman Under The Influence"...

  5. Why not" It's a film for Chrissake's. It won't turn you g*y,you won't suddenly grow b*****s and become irritable for no reason and you

won't get cramps! Best of all, your little swimmers will be free to cavort even after having watched a chick flick...JESUS!

  6. allowed????  it should be REQUIRED!!!!!  lol

that's how every girl wants to be loved!!!!

  7. er... why would they not be allowed to? most guys would hate the notebook though i think... although it would be really cute if a guy was sensitive enough to like it! XD

  8. Geez Tommy  (I am laughing while I write this)  Who is it that allows or disallows the guys?  What is supposed to happen if they watch something that is not for guys?  How old are your friends that are telling you this?  We will have the boys line and the girls line and oh ick you might get girl germs if you watch "The Notebook"  haha.  Your too smart to fall into that, that is stereotyping and kind of bigoted don't you think?  Isn't that kind of thinking (narrow and black and white) that comes from people that haven't quite evolved and want to keep most people down with a bunch of rigid silly rules?  Don't buy it!

I wish you serenity  (and a resolution to this issue.)

  9. Of course they should.  I don't know if the current cultural expectations for men these days would necessarily sanction such a movie as acceptable, but I'm a guy and I've liked plenty of movies that my "manliness" didn't want to admit.  Personally I haven't seen it, and don't really desire to, and most likely I wouldn't get much from it, but I really can't say for sure since I haven't seen it.

Shrug off the stigma of conformity and just enjoy yourself.
