Should Ganguly retire from ODI cricket ?

They have ommitted Ganguly once again. As long as Dhori is there he will not take him irrespective of performance. Dhoni will be there for years. So why in ODI Dada ? Please call it off. At least millions of your fans arround the world would have nothing to worry about.

  6. Its not about Dhoni's captainship. With the flow of youngsters into the team, Ganguly has not able been to compete with the rising demands. Many a times, his fielding and his inability to play short pitch balls has raised a question on his selection. Odi career is still not closed for him but to be  back in the side, he may have to confident and keep learning and not complain on what's happening. The opening slot along with Sachin is still wide open.

  13. Yes, my friend, I too think in the same way. As long as Dhoni is there, the door remains locked for dada. And Dhoni will be there for quite some time now, especially after the initial successes he got as a captain. Now, Dhoni's word is the last in Indian cricket and he has made it clear that he does not want "unfit" seniors in the team.

    I have nothing to say. All I can say is Sourav should now indeed hang his gloves and call it a day. I have been a great dada fan for as long as I've been watching cricket. But I just hate to see a brave man being subjected to this utter humiliation time and again. That's why I feel he should announce his retirement, right in the face of those who are insulting him by this ommision.  Come on dada, why should you bear this insult? Retire now. They have killed you already. You have nothing to fear. Millions of us fans know your sheer skill, and the passion with which you have served Indian cricket for all these years! We fans know that you can still play ODIs. You have proved yourself even in T20. But they just won't look at your performance.  Now sit back and see how well the youngsters manages it on their own.

    PS: I have a feeling that he would announce his ODI retirement pretty soon. A few months back, he said that he will be reiring from ODIs after maximum 7-8 months.

  15. Are you crack.... see his records after his return, and how can you be so sure that Dhoni will not take him........stop advising the dads of cricket when you dont know how to hold a bat or ball
