Should Gary Glitter be allowed to go to another Asian country?

On BBC news, as always, yet again, Gary Glitter is on it refusing to leave Thailand insisting he is a free man and wants to go to another Asian country, do you think he should be allowed or should he come back to the UK which is what British authorities want?

Well the foreign countries are harsher on pedophiles and their prisons are far worse than ours!   Some even have the death sentence!

I am NOT defending this paedo but he is now a free man in possession of a current British passport so I guess he can travel to any country that will let him in. At the moment he is in limbo at the airport at Bangkok. The Thais will not allow him into Thailand so where he goes from there is any ones  guess.He can't be forced to return to the UK. I think that the next plane he boards he should be dropped of at any country he chooses.......from 30,000 feet.

I don't think he should be inflicted on any other country.  Isn't it funny how his fake heart attack happened in Thailand, a country notorious for it's underage s*x trade.  Hmmmm.  That just goes to show how utterly without remorse this man really is.

It is a decision for the countries concerned. Thailand have made their position clear. They don't want to admit him into their country.

He's out of UK jurisdiction at the moment but he should never have been allowed to leave the UK in the first place. Britain should not export dangerous ex-cons to other Countries.

Nobody in the UK wants him back but I still think that it's the only solution.

Why should he be allowed to travel to other countries and use his relative wealth & anonymity there to abuse children? We wouldn't accept another countries paedophiles so why should they accept ours?

I would be amazed if any country would let him in. I don't understand why Thailand does not deport him.

Alas he is a British passport holder, so he is our issue to deal with. He should return to the UK and face the 'music.

Why not just send Glit to Iran?   Apparently it's now okay for old men of 60+ in Iran to legally marry girls as young as 10.

The only thing that British authorities can do is pressurise Thailand into handing him over to them so It's to do with Thailand, regardless of what British authorities want/need/think.

Each place in the world has their own rules/customs etc etc and they should be respected, regardless of what they are in your own country.

Basically your freedom and rules ends where their starts.
