  1. she should just be band from the human race

  2. She has written what many people think !

  3. Shouldn't this be under 'Religion' - since you obviously feel Di was a Saint?

Anyone can be 'attacked' verbally or in print with opinions and facts (not lies or theories), from God to the person next door - if you value freedom of speech.

Or are you saying GG isn't allowed an opinion, unless it's fully in concord with yours?

  4. If we censored everything that we personnaly disliked the world would be mute.

  5. Everyone should be allowed to have their opinions. Re Ms Greer, haven't you noticed she only gets the press when she attacks someone famous. The last time anyone knew she was still in the land of the living was when she attacked Steve Irwin

You only confirm her existence when you get angry over her. Ignore her and she will go away

  6. Suppose, just suppose, she was right!

  7. Whether you mean 'censored' or 'censured' the answer is still No.  Let people read her stuff if they want to and form their own opinions - like most of those who answered here already have!

  8. No, she should not be censored. If you live in a country that promotes freedom of speech, you will also have to hear things that you do not agree with.

  9. No she should not be censored.  There is such a thing as free speech and if you don't like what she said then you are at liberty to say or write something to that effect.

CLIVE H:  Just to clear up a couple of things - they haven't sent convict ships out here for quite some time.  We are still a member of the Commonwealth and we also had Queen Victoria and we have Queen Elizabeth II.  And as most Australians are still of British decent (my parents are English) - we had Boadicea and Elizabeth I as well. I am sorry that you felt the need to be so rude.

  10. Opinions are like a**holes,

    we all have one,

    but I wouldn't want hers.

    No she shouldnt be sensored.

We all need a good laugh from time to time....hahahahahahaha

  11. I hardly think that Germaine Greer is alone in her opinion.  Of course she shouldn't be censored, we have freedom of the press in a democracy.

  12. yes she should, the stupid cow is just using the anniversary of Diana's death to get her self in the public eye again, she should shut up and go back to the hole from whence she came.  isn't it time that  Princess Diana be left alone, everyone has their faults and we'd be nieve to think she was an angel but come on ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

think of the two Princes' of whom this Lady was their mother

    I have starred your question

  13. We live in a free country.

We have the right to freedom of expression.

We are allowed to freely express our opinions.

Do you not like that idea?

Would you prefer to live in a dictatorship, where the only opinions you can have, are the ones the Government wants you to have?

  14. Well I read the article, and my only question is did she write it for the publicity? Though I don't think Greer needs to be censured, her ranting and raving leaves me cold. Sorry to hear that she picked on the late Steve Irwin as well. If she was an American I suppose she'd target Anna Nicole Smith and Tammy Faye Bakker too. Flaws and all, most humans do the best they can. I say pick on the living and let the dead rest in peace, Ms.Greer. Many folks love the memories of both Diana and Irwin. You sound like an jealous, embittered old woman. But perhaps that's what you are.

  15. Certainly not. She should be thanked and feted, even though she is an Australian.

  16. The woman is just expressing an oppinion. Surely we don't need to censor her.

  17. certainly not she has her opinion like the rest of us

  18. Germaine Greer is an obsolete nasty old crow who should be totally ignored .

Please keep her there, we don't want her back

  19. Not censored, no. Simply seen clearly for what she is.

  20. No. She is entitled to her own opinions. :-)

"I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" ~Voltaire

  21. censored? why? The UK is not a communist country and we practice freedom of speech.

and no, I do not agree or support what she said whatsoever.

  22. Freedom of speech. The woman is entitled to her opinion just as you & I are.

  23. Germaine Greer is a self-righteous hypocrite. For some reason, she feels the need to voice her opinion on almost EVERYTHING.

I think someone should take her aside and tell her what an idiot she constantly makes of herself.

The woman went on Celebrity Big Brother for God's sake - who can possibly take her seriously after that??!!!!!

  24. No one should be censored. Ever. If you don't like what she's saying, ignore her.

  25. Germaine Greer should be sent back to Australia on the next convict boat leaving the mud-flats in the Thames estuary.

Why have we tolerated this loud mouthed Oz ***** for so long!?

We are too tolerant for our own good if you ask me!

Greer comes from that Oz-mob who having failed to ignite public opinion back home in Australia, a male dominated culture I believe, turned up in UK and started blabbing on about wimmin's rights!  They got rights they got the vote and much more besides.

Greer and her kind have set back women's rights and the movement in general by many decades if not generations.

Who does Greer think she is?

This is the land which gave the world the Suffragettes.

The women of Britain need no advice from an Oz woman.

We've got the statue of Queen Bodica on Westminster Bridge.  We had Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Vic and we've got Queen Liz 2.

  26. I don't actually know what she said, but as she hasn't said a sensible thing in her entire life, particularly, her early feminist rants, then yes, she should be criticised just for the h**l of it, but perhaps not censored, because that will get peoples back up.

I see the feminist sisterhood are out in force supporting one of their own. Ugh! I feel a shiver.

  27. Germaine Greer just gives me a pain in the backside, as do many newspaper commentators. Why single her out?

  28. No everyone has an opinion just like everyone has a a%$ hole, not all want to see it!

  29. No need to reproach these people for their view, but it would be nice if these people would pick on the living, as the dead can't speak for themselves!

  30. Germaine Greer is entitled to give her view, but it should have been shown in the south pole or some where else, where no one cares so much.

  31. Hey, I'm from the United States :)
