I have noticed Harley's parked at public places leak oil on the ground

This is a safety hazard

Some old lady could slip and fall

I say make it a law that Harley riders be required to carry pig mats or drip pans to lay under their parked Harley

what say you?

  1. I believe in many ways your opinions are like a diaper, they are both full of the same thing.

  2. I don't care about old ladies or kids who might slip and break bones.  But the damage to the environment caused by these oil spills in unconscionable.  Wherever a Harley parks should qualify as a superfund site.  And then there is the noise pollution as they ruin eardrums across the country.

  3. No.

  4. JOE B(lowme) the only thing that needs a pig mat is your old lady (if you even go that way)

your questions as usual are pathetic,as is your manhood, you dont have the balls to open your yap except from ther safety of your mamma's computer

  5. sounds like you want one dont you! cant do it?. mine doesnt leak a drop!

  6. Joe B, i leak very lightly in your driveway and in your mouth.  must suck to ride j*p huh????

  7. Spare me - the LAST thing we need is more laws.

They tried to regulate wearing helmets when you ride - and in some places, they have. There is a concerted effort to drive smoking out of existence - every time a child hiccups, someone decides we need a new law. In New York, they are going to pass a law forbidding store owners from leaving their doors open when the air conditioner is running. If an owner wants to spend the money in his own store, should he not be able to do this?

Can't do this, can't do that - can't carry a pocketknife on a plane (and any reasonable person knows a terrorist can cause as much damage with a ball point pen as with a pocket knife) Let us not open the door for one more bit of regulation.

  8. What state/city do you live in.?...I have always seen all Harleys and all other makes and models of bikes parked in desisgnated proper parking spaces and certainly not 3 inches form the doorway of businesses. I hope that you are taking editorial license here and not really expecting anyone to belie that statement!

No modern production bikes on the market today leak anymore regardless of where they are parked so it is not even a problem ..Therefore no need for diapers/no need for pig mats and no need for any new law.....We are the home of the brave and the land of the overegualted free already. No need for any more ridiculous laws unless of course you happen to earn your living filing/serving law-suts...Like new laws and regualtions we also have no need for any more lawyers in this country.....

  9. Listen up, kiddies! Harleys haven't leaked oil since the 70s when the Evolution engine came out. The older Harleys, Shovelheads, Panheads, Knuckleheads, Flatheads, etc. had automatic chain oilers that dripped a small amount of engine oil onto the drive chain. That hasn't been used in 40 years; how old are you, anyway? The average 5 year old car leaks more oil than a 5 year old Harley; I KNOW because I've owned more than a dozen Harleys in the last ten years, and own 5 right now, including 2 Shovelheads and a Panhead chopper. They don't leak a drop, because I built them NOT to! You should really get your facts straight before you make a fool of yourselves in front of those who actually know what we're talking about. If you want to help the environment, go pick up all the Parking Lot Burritos (used diapers) in Walmart's parking lot, they're a bigger slipping hazard, and send those leaky Harleys my way, I'll fix 'em right up.

  10. only if they are the AMF bikes.

  11. Your still an idiot and every time you ask a question you just confirm that it seems to be a permanent condition.

  12. That sounds good but they should add to that law a section requiring all sport bikes to have outrigger wheels on them so they do not fall over in the corners  doing   damage to the side of roads and endangering the public. And another 500 lb. added to the front end so they can not do stunts on the highways.

  13. lol.  Good luck with that.  Cars leak oil too.  Should they carry a drip pan in the trunk and pull it out when they park too?

  14. Why don't you take it upon yourself to go to every biker you see and tell, face to face,  about this problem. If they get smart with you, just slap them around a little.

  15. my 62 panhead dont leak a drop neither does my shovelhead. funnything my HONDA c.b. 750 does.

  16. There are WAY more cars and trucks on the road leaking oil everywhere. If that was required then it should be for cars and trucks too. Thats never gonna happen. The fix? Repair their leaking car, truck, minivan, motorcycle. The reason most people dont get this fixed is , its like a few hundered dollars to change a leaking gasket under your car.

  17. Are you some kind of IDIOT ?? I totaly agree with OL BUCK'S response above Harleys havent leaked any thing in  many many years I drive an 04 VCRA V ROD have been cross country with the bike several times have riden over 70,000 miles and have never had a single proplem with this machine and no it's never leaked a drop of anything I Have an  09 v-rod on order if they were such **** boxes why is ther a 4 month waiting list to get one ??? in the future before you prove to the world your uneducated and basicly an idiot do your home work.
