  1. They need a fortress. This is why interstate teams do so well - you can almost guarantee your home games will be a win. Imagine if you played half your games in Tasmania - not even WC can win down there.

Not a fan but I hope they do well, they are good to watch when they are confident.

  2. they are getting better, although i am not sure there time is yet as they are still abit inconsistant (which will improve in time) i would say around 2009 they will be a fearsome side to contend with

  3. Totally i feel the same way im a massive Hawks supporter . I went to the Hawthorn vs West Coast Eagels game with my friend .We got tickets right in the middle of the West Coast cheer squad and when Hawthorn won we were so excited! Then my friend Dyln and screamed so loud it was funny.I dont want to get so excited because im scared im gonna jinx it too.Lets just hope everything goes well :)

  4. It is exciting to hear that Hawthorn are maintaining their presence in the top8 this year.  But we shouldn't get too exciting at this point cos there's the other half of the season to consider.

If they continue to play the way they have been playing and win (esp against the Eagles over the weekend) then I'm sure they will be there in Sept.

  5. its way 2 early

  6. Yes, I would be getting excited. The players are playing with a lot of confidence & self belief, which is so important. i would be thinking finals.

  7. I'm such a big Hawks supporter and I am getting so excited!! We haven't played as well as we are playing now in a long time! I think it's good for us to be getting excited, its natural especially if your teams playing as well as us! ;) It IS still only early days but still, I reckon its pretty silly to only start getting excited near the end of the season, why not get excited now?!

Here's hoping we can play as well as we are now for the rest of the season!

  8. Too early I would say.  If they are still going well around round 16 start getting excited because they do play well at the MCG.

They are definitely a team of the future but at the moment an occasional good win against the top echelon will be their go, remember that they lost to Dockers last week away and the Dockers aren't really up and running yet

The more experienced finals sides Eagles, Sydney and Adelaide will still  be hard to beat this year in the finals and Geelong and Collingwood will probably be thereabouts
