I am eighty four years old and have poor eyesights and can see things only about three to four feet (maximum distance)away. I step on dogshits in the side street of my apartment (small flat)almost everyday. Whenever I stepped on something soft, it must be the damned dogshit. Why the residents in Kowloon side don't put their dogshits into the dogshit collection box placed on the iron poles on the streets? It is illegal to let the dogs to excrete in the streets. I used to own a dog for eigth years and I never let my dog to s-h-i-t outside the streets. My niece keeps two dogs and lives just one block away from me. She look after her dog's manua quite well by putting sands on the tray at home. I think Hong Kong should be named as the "City of Dogshits". Hong Kong is a polluted and filthy city and I hate it. I wish I were lucky enough to have a stroke and die in Macdonald restaurant in one morning without pain.

  1. From a public health standpoint I totally agree with you about dog f***s.  I also agree that the laws against allowing dog to defecate should be enforced.  Talk to your local Public Works department and officials.  make a stink at your next council meeting.  Get an article done on TV or in the paper.  An elderly man trying to deal with all this could make for an attractive story and you just might be able to force the change yourself.

That would cool to see one man effect such massive change in the whole city.  It could be your legacy as it were.

    Good luck!
