Should Hopkins have been disqualified?

Every time Calzaghe started dominating Hopkins, and it looked like he could get a stoppage, Hopkins took a 'low blow' break. We have seen this several times in recent major fights. Us, as fans, have to speak out about this c**p! If these guys are going to get away with this c**p, why not just grant 3 time-outs per fight or something? Give them helmets - h**l, it's football!!!!

Calzaghe stopping Hopkins? Good one. Anyway, yes Hopkins was exaggerating, but Calzaghe shouldn't have given him the opportunity to do so by hitting him in the crotch. Time-outs for low blows are perfectly within the rules.

Also, please remind me of the 'several major fights' this has happened in recently.

BTW, it was won on the 'BATTLEFIELD.' Do you recall the Civil War? If you try again you'll get STUMPED again, CHUMP!

You have to remember, with the completley bias referee Cortez, Hopkins could do anything to Calzaghe and he would let it happen, but if Calzaghe does a right hook, Cortez pulls him away. Just like in the Hatton fight. When i watched the highlights, Calzaghe was being pulled away everytime he pulled a combo.
